This is an exciting opportunity at the heart of its product distribution managing customer accounts, including order receipt and input, stock control, warehouse liaison and invoicing. Our client is expanding its operations and has a new opening for a Sales Coordinator to be based at its office in the West Midlands. The role will focus on researching opportunities to develop business in road freight groupage activities within our client’s target markets and providing qualified leads for the sales and tele-sales teams to follow up on and convert. Some telephone marketing will also be conducted. The successful candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment in a busy and developing company. Previous experience of road transport operations will be desirable as well as a background in customer services or sales. Commutable from Warwick, Leamington, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Rugby.

Innovation and investment has given rise to new openings for trainee Freight Account Managers at branch level, who will manage new and existing customer accounts from sales through to delivery. * Generate sales leads over the phone and face to face. * Provide accurate and cost effective quotations. * Process and monitor consignments * Proactively pursue new areas of business. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, with good communication and interpersonal skills. He/she will enjoy dealing with customers and the challenge presented by working in a busy freight operation reporting to the Branch Manager.
