Our client is expanding its operations and has a new opening for a Sales Coordinator to be based at its office in the West Midlands. The role will focus on researching opportunities to develop business in road freight groupage activities within our client’s target markets and providing qualified leads for the sales and tele-sales teams to follow up on and convert. Some telephone marketing will also be conducted. The successful candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment in a busy and developing company. Previous experience of road transport operations will be desirable as well as a background in customer services or sales. Commutable from Warwick, Leamington, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Rugby.
Based Birmingham Our client is a large and successful logistics company with a strong market presence in airfreight, seafreight and roadfreight. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new overland business , (road and rail business) within a designated area. He/she will prepare and present appropriate quotations and client tenders and assist in implementing business into the operational departments. In order to be considered candidates should have groupage sales experience, with a high degree of organisational, administrative and communication skills.
