Ideally you will be based in the Midlands but it will not be a problem to be based in the north of England.
Forward Prospects is currently recruiting Field Sales Executives on behalf of a leading international transportation and logistics provider. Although they are flexible regarding the location, ideally you will reside in the Midlands or Northern England area. Reporting directly to the Global Logistics Manager you will have the following experience: • Sea freight and airfreight knowledge • Good understanding of the Far East markets • Ability to sell either by phone or face to face • Good understanding of 3PL operations The successful candidates will have the ability to generate their own sales by cold calling and quickly responding to overseas sales leads. Ideally you may have business which you could bring with you to this role and you will have previous experience working for a 3PL or freight company. Good presentation skills are required for this position.
Our client is a small and expanding multi-modal freight forwarder. Most of their work is presently related to sea exports. They seek an experienced freight operator or forwarder who understands the detail of all aspects of the freight industry, specifically bills of lading, pre-advice, letters of credit etc. If you have had experience of account management that would be advantageous.
Based in our client's UK head office your role will be to assist with all container terminal and feeder matters in European and Mediterranean area, Transatlantic service operations and all relating to operations. * Handling IMO/OOG applications, issuing schedules and liaising with company offices across the world. * Terminal back up, providing manager withsupport on contract negotiations and analysi. * Reporting on cost performance and control. In addition to experience in the marine industry, candidates should have excellent pc skills and be flexible to work across Europe.
An international trading company specialising in the sale of branded merchandise to major retailers worldwide is currently recruiting for an experienced Regional Shipping Manager to plan and manage international shipping services to support retail marketing programmes. 1. Manage shipping and logistics operations 2. Manage return logistics operations 3. Manage triangular and cross trade business 4. Ensure compliance with all import and export regulations The successful Regional Shipping Manager will have extensive operational experience within an international trading environment with significant knowledge of import, export, seafreight, airfreight, and trailer operations. The successful candidate will be expected to present and lead meetings at senior management level as well as being a hands-on operator. This role will require overseas travel.
