They work with leading worldwide carriers providing a dedicated service to customers in the field of import and export. The successful candidate will enjoy customer contact, be a sound administrator and like working in a busy office environment. He/she will ideally have previous experience and familiarity with the forwarding sector, preferably with some specialist knowledge of customs clearance. To be considered for the role, you must have experience working in an Ocean/Sea Import role coupled with some management/supervisory experience. IT literacy is essential as well as excellent communication skills.

Our client is a small, independent forwarder which is growing strongly. As such they have a new role that requires an Operations Manager to head up a department running the European intermodal / container business. Knowledge of full load services will be ideal (import preferred.) Ocean freight experience is also a possibility. Previous supervisory or management experience will also be beneficial.
