You will negotiate with hauliers, airlines and NVOCC’s as well as handling all the export documentation. The successful candidate will have experience in an Export position – air freight is essential, along with some ocean/sea experience. You will be IT literate with excellent communication skills. Export Co-ordinator – Temporary, To c£15k

You will handle the loads coming in, ensuring all the paperwork is accurate prior to being exported nationally and internationally. Forward Prospects is currently recruiting for an Operations Co-ordinator for one of its clients, a global logistics provider based in the North East. Reporting to the General Manager, you will: • Plan and monitor freight shipments • Manage customer documentation • Ensure invoicing is accurately completed • Build and maintain customer relationships The successful candidate will have experience working for a freight forwarder, ideally ocean related although candidates from air and road freight backgrounds will be considered. I.T. literacy is essential along with excellent attention to detail.

Freight Operations Manager, £25-35k

Our client seeks an Operations Manager to control its busy freight operation. This will be a hands on role requiring sound knowledge of multi-modal freight movement and an ability to build sound customer and supplier relationships, working closely with business development personnel. The operations team provides a clerical and co-ordination role dealing with imports/exports and cross trades, taking customer bookings, arranging shipments etc together with costing of jobs. The successful candidate will be familiar with all operational facets of import/export and must also have commercial acumen.
